1. What is Shea Butter, and why is it so important?

Shea butter is a natural fat extracted from the nuts of the African shea tree (Vitellaria paradoxa). Rich in vitamins A, E, and F, it offers intense moisture, anti-inflammatory benefits, and promotes skin elasticity. Shea butter has been used for centuries in West Africa to treat dry skin, protect from harsh climates, and support skin health.

2. What’s the difference between shea butter and regular lotion?

Lotion typically contains water, fillers, and synthetic ingredients that may offer temporary moisture. In contrast, shea butter is a concentrated, all-natural emollient that penetrates deeply to heal and nourish the skin without harsh additives. A little goes a long way, and the results last much longer.

3. Where are Mo Butta products made?

All Mo Butta products are handmade with love in Omaha, Nebraska. Each batch is handcrafted and hand-poured, ensuring care, consistency, and quality in every jar.

4. How soon will I receive my order?

We process all orders within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number to monitor your delivery. Most customers receive their Mo Butta within 3–5 business days after shipping.

5. Are your products natural?

Yes! Our whipped shea butters are made using natural ingredients such as raw shea butter, coconut oil, essential oils, and plant-based additives. We believe in transparency and avoiding unnecessary chemicals.

6. Can I use Mo Butta on my entire body?

Absolutely! Mo Butta is formulated to be gentle yet effective for use on your hands, feet, legs, arms, face, and more. Customers even use it as a hair moisturizer or after-shave balm!

7. Is Mo Butta safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, Mo Butta is suitable for most skin types. However, if you have extremely sensitive skin or known allergies, we recommend doing a patch test first or choosing our unscented option.

9. How should I store my Mo Butta?

Store your jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If exposed to heat, the butter may melt, but don’t worry—it will firm back up once cooled, and still be safe to use.
